Poca scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by the Williamstown Yellowjackets 83-55. The The Dots lost against the Yellowjackets in their previous head to head back in May of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 50-47 score last time.

Poca is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5. As for Williamstown, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poca will welcome Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Buffalo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Williamstown, they will challenge Ritchie County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ritchie County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Williamstown likes a good challenge.
