The Parkview Baptist Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Central Private Redhawks at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Parkview Baptist will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Parkview Baptist's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over Albany. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 13 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Emmarie Lacy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 17 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 12 games.

In other batting news, Lily Hammonds and Addie Young did most of the damage at the plate: Hammonds went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Young went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave Young a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aimee Gawlik, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Central Private was able to grind out a solid win over Maurepas on Monday, taking the game 8-5. The Redhawks haven't had any issues with the Wolves recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Molly Davis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Bree Crawford, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Addy Brown, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
Parkview Baptist's record now sits at 20-2. As for Central Private, their record is now 15-3.
Parkview Baptist came out on top in a nail-biter against Central Private in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, sneaking past 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
