If Spring Creek wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lowry, they should've done a better job of containing Britain Backus. The Lowry Buckaroos blew past the Spring Creek Spartans 60-39 on Tuesday thanks in part to Backus, who went 11 of 24 en route to 32 points and three steals. The match was her 11th in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Maura Braatz, who posted three points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in rebounds (four).

When it comes to explaining why Spring Creek lost, don't look at Ryan Youngblood. Despite the final result, she had 16 points and six steals. Rhiwan Williams was another key player, putting up ten points along with eight boards and four steals.

The win was the third in a row for Lowry, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.
