The Central Connecticut Conference, the largest in the state with 32 teams, realigned its football divisions for the 2011 season based on enrollment with Class LL schools grouped in Division I, Class L in Division II and Class M and S in Division III with Division IV eliminated.
The only exceptions were Hartford Public (LL), placed in Division II, and Rockville (L) in Division III for competitive balance.
