Richland (Johnstown, Pa.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 14 in the fourth quarter to seal a 43-18 victory over
Tyrone (Pa.).
After taking the lead on a
Tanner Solarczyk touchdown run in the first quarter, the Rams led 22-12 at the half.
Richland expanded its lead to 11 points entering the fourth quarter. RHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Solarczyk.
The loss snapped Tyrone's four-game winning streak.
The Golden Eagles came in allowing just 14.8 points per game this season. Tyrone had a hard time against Richland's offense, which entered the game scoring 47.1 points per game.
The Rams also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 43-22.
The loss comes after Tyrone defeated Bald Eagle Area 26-21 last week.
