The Nueva School Mavericks posted their biggest victory since November 30, 2023 on Wednesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 70-42 victory over Design Tech. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory The Nueva School has posted against Design Tech since January 31, 2019.
It was another big night for Gabe Ciechanover, who scored 26 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Lee, who scored 14 points.
Despite the loss, Design Tech still got an impressive performance from Eddy Yee, who scored ten points.
The Nueva School pushed their record up to 7-3 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Design Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Nueva School won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Kehillah at 7:00 p.m. on January 11th. Kehillah is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Design Tech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Francisco Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
