Despite the loss, Indian Rocks Christian saw an underclassman step up: Kayleigh Atkinson scored 10 points. Another player making a difference was Ruth Moyer, who scored 6 points.
Leading Northside Christian to victory were Sydney White and Rilee Knight. White scored 14 points, while Knight scored 16 points.
Indian Rocks Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Northside Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Indian Rocks Christian will head out on the road to face off against Dunedin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northside Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hernando Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m.
