Moreau Catholic has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on The San Leandro Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Moreau Catholic was beaten by Bishop O'Dowd 57-20. Moreau Catholic was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-14.
Despite the defeat, Moreau Catholic got a solid performance out of Jayden Bryant, who rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, San Leandro's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell to Tennyson 22-18.
Moreau Catholic now has a losing record at 3-4. San Leandro has not been sharp this season, as they've lost six of their first seven games, which leaves them at a 1-6 record this season.
