The biggest upset of the week belonged to Cardinal, who took down 393rd ranked Berkshire, 33-24. Justin McClain threw for 91 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Troy Sullivan and Jason Farmwald provided fans with a highlight when they connected against the Badgers. The connection went for 64 yards, the longest such play in Chagrin Valley - Valley this season.
Scott Eilerman and Damon Washington gave Kirtland a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Eilerman threw for 129 yards and two touchdowns, while Washington ran for 128 yards. Teammate Adam Hess added to the ground attack by rushing for 108 yards.
Brian Kaser was the best wideout in the league this week as the Huskies defeated Berkshire. Kaser racked up two receptions for 66 yards. Farmwald helped Cardinal's passing attack out by catching one ball for 64 yards.
Kirtland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Eilerman has thrown for 837 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Washington has 14 catches for 293 yards. Washington leads the league in rushing with 1385 yards.
Cardinal moved up to 407 from 454 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Chagrin Valley - Valley. Eric Cardinal's team climbed the ranks as a result of topping Alan Vanderink's team 33-24.
