Baseball Recap: St. Michael's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

St. Michael came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the TMI-Episcopal Panthers a 4-0 shutout on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

St. Michael's saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Chavez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Chavez also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

St. Michael's record now sits at 8-17. As for TMI-Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

St. Michael's will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
