The Fairview Aggies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 44-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Vinemont. Fairview was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Vinemont apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Vinemont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Reagan Robinson led the charge by scoring 17 points along with six rebounds. The matchup was Robinson's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie Burks, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Vinemont, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Fairview will head out on the road to face off against Arab at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Arab is coming into the match hot, having won their last nine games. Vinemont will be home for the holidays to greet Brindlee Mountain at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. Brindlee Mountain will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Vinemont is ranked 107th).
