Kirby never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Ridgeway Roadrunners 48-0. Considering the Cougars have won three games by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Kirby and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.0 points over those games. As for Ridgeway, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kirby will square off against rival Millington Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ridgeway is set to challenge their familiar foe Lakeland Preparatory on October 3.
