Albany has gone 8-1 against Niskayuna recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Albany Falcons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Niskayuna Silver Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Albany is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.4 points per game this season.
Niskayuna will be up against a hot Albany team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Albany came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 53-49 W against Shenendehowa.

Albany's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mia Corazzini, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten boards. Corazzini continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jasani Francis Torras, who went 8-for-17 en route to 18 points and six rebounds.
Albany smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.
Meanwhile, Niskayuna played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 53-31 to Averill Park. The contest marked the Silver Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Despite the defeat, Niskayuna saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Skye Linyear posted 12 points and seven boards. Linyear is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played.
Albany pushed their record up to 15-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Niskayuna, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Albany has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 38.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Niskayuna struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.6 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Albany skirted past Niskayuna 57-55 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Will Albany repeat their success, or does Niskayuna have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
