The Boulder Creek Jaguars are taking a road trip to take on the O'Connor Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Boulder Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully O'Connor likes a good challenge.
Boulder Creek is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Mountain Ridge 55-13. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Mountain Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Boulder Creek didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Mountain Ridge to a completion percentage of just 43.5%. The team can thank Vincent Lorgeree for the heroic effort on defense: he. Boulder Creek has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.65 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.65 in their last three games.
Boulder Creek's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Torin Hamilton, Jaxen Proffitt, and Preston Dejong, who each picked up one sack apiece. Jorge Beltran got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last matchup, O'Connor made sure to put some points up on the board against Saguaro last Friday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Sabercats 40-37. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.
Boulder Creek better keep an eye on Jeremy Adeyanju. He was instrumental in O'Connor's win, rushing for 166 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. They are 2-1 when Adeyanju posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Brodie Moore, who rushed for 68 yards on only nine carries.
Boulder Creek picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for O'Connor, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5.
Everything went Boulder Creek's way against O'Connor in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Boulder Creek made off with a 35-14 win. Do the Jaguars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
