Illinois School for the Deaf had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They managed a 53-49 win over the Greenview Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Illinois School for the Deaf's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Greenview, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Illinois School for the Deaf will challenge Alabama School for the Deaf at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Greenview, they will take on Athens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Athens will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Greenview surely won't give up without a fight.
