Olympia is 0-3 against Warrensburg-Latham since August of 2023 but things could change  on Thursday. The Spartans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cardinals  at 7:00  p.m. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Tuesday, Olympia beat Delavan 2-0. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Spartans.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Olympia took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12,  25-14.
 Olympia's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Brooklyn Komnick, who  had six  digs, two  aces,  and one  block. Another player making a difference was  Aubrey Rycyzyn, who  had nine  digs and two  aces.
Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for Warrensburg-Latham, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Maroa-Forsyth on Monday, sneaking past  2-1.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Warrensburg-Latham got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25,  25-10.
 Warrensburg-Latham's win bumped their record up to 24-10. As for Olympia, they now  have a winning record of 17-16.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  match:  Olympia has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 4.6  aces per game. However, it's not like Warrensburg-Latham struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 5.5  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
