Stonington barely beat Plainfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Michael Keefe, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Finn Eck was another key player, getting on base in two of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.

Stonington's record is now 10-3. As for Plainfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Stonington will host Killingly at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Plainfield, they will venture away from home to take on Lyman Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
