The Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. They really took it to Royal Live Oaks Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 74-22 win on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-20.
Leading Bamberg-Ehrhardt to victory were Anthony Williams and Isiah Johnson. Williams scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals, while Johnson scored 18 points along with seven assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Parker, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Bamberg-Ehrhardt's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Royal Live Oaks Academy, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6-1.
Bamberg-Ehrhardt will take on Bridges Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Royal Live Oaks Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Branchville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
