TAYLOR MCKEAN made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI.
In other batting news, GRACE HEATH was incredible, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. GRACIE JONES also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Aledo pushed their record up to 23-3 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
