In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kalyn Benavides, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Jordyn Bundick was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
Ganado always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .853. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Ganado picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 6-2. As for George Ranch, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7-2.
