Dutch Fork found out winning isn't easy when you don't work as a unit and rack up ten fewer assists than your opponent.
Several Silver Foxes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryson Taylor, who scored 16 points. Samajae Govan was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Among those leading the charge was Jordan Brown, who scored 26 points along with 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelly Simuel, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds.
Dutch Fork has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Dreher, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-3.
Dutch Fork will head out on the road to face off against Brookland-Cayce at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dreher, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakewood is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
