On Friday Murray will have to hit the road after three straight games at home. They will venture away from home to take on the Hillcrest Huskies at 7:00 p.m. Murray will be strutting in after a victory while Hillcrest will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Murray didn't have too much trouble with Payson at home as they won 32-13. The Spartans pushed the score to 26-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.

He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season. Meanwhile, Hillcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 41-24 to Tooele.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Silas Ahching, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 62 yards. Another player making a difference was Grady Court, who picked up 63 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Even though they lost, Hillcrest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted was before the start of last season.
Murray has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Hillcrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
Murray beat Hillcrest 31-20 when the teams last played back in September of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Hillcrest's Marcus Sollers, who rushed for 194 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
