Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead United Faith Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jada Richardson, who dropped a triple-double on 15 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals. Richardson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jade Bell, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Veritas Christian Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Shea Nichols and Sloan Nichols. Nichols dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, while Nichols scored nine points. Brooke Miller was another key contributor, scoring four points along with seven assists and two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for United Faith Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-13. As for Veritas Christian Academy, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-6.
United Faith Christian Academy will take on Legion Collegiate Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Legion Collegiate Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Liberty Preparatory Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty Preparatory Christian will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
