Meanwhile, Poplar Springs also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Graceville by a score of 55-45. While losing is never fun, Poplar Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 671st, while Graceville is ranked 318th).
Malone has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Poplar Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
