Seminary extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Mooreville. They put the hurt on the Troopers with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 23 matchups by six runs or more this season.
Drake Williamson tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off seven hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Noah Napier was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric McCullum, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI.
The win was the fourth in a row for Seminary, bringing their record up to 33-8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Mooreville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 29-11.
