They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-44 win over Bishop LeBlond. That's another feather in the cap for Plattsburg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Michael "isaia" Howard was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 27 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Plattsburg's points. Jaiveon Grayson was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Plattsburg's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for Bishop LeBlond, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
Plattsburg and West Platte will face off at 8:30 p.m. on December 29, 2023 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. West Platte has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests. As for Bishop LeBlond, they will be playing at home against Chillicothe at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Chillicothe is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
