The Alliance Ted K. Tajima Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They suffered a tough 50-26 defeat at the hands of New Designs University Park.
Agustin Garibay was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and two steals for New Designs University Park. Garibay hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Shannon Polk, who scored two points along with nine rebounds and nine steals.
Alliance Ted K. Tajima's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for New Designs University Park, their victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alliance Ted K. Tajima will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on SEED: LA at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. As for New Designs University Park, they will head out on the road to face off against Animo Robinson at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
