Eli Zimmerman and Co. Win Eighth in a Row
Eli Zimmerman's big game helped extend Northwestern Lehigh's winning streak to eight on Friday. Zimmerman's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 105 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Northwestern Lehigh pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Zimmerman and Northwestern Lehigh will venture away from home to face off against Tamaqua at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Luke Kane's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tamaqua over Lehighton
While Tamaqua might've come up empty on Friday, Luke Kane wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Kane as he rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, and also threw for 134 yards on ten of 17 attempts.

If history really does repeat itself, Hulmes might just drop another big game when he faces off against Tamaqua on Friday. When Hulmes last faced the Blue Raiders back in August of 2023, he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made six total tackles (3.0 for loss).
