The University of Notre Dame basketball team has received a commitment from junior shooting guard Stephen Vasturia of St. Joseph's Prep (Philadelphia), according to the South Bend Tribune.
The 6-foot-5, 185-pounder averaged 19 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5 assists while earning all-conference honors as a sophomore.
Vasturia, who also had offers from several big-time schools like Georgetown and Virginia, was recruited by assistant coach Martin Ingelsby, who came from the same Philadelphia area that has become somewhat of a pipeline for Notre Dame basketball.
