Make it six blowout wins for the WISH Academy Owls this season. They took their game on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 84-43 win over New Designs Watts. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-18.
Chemar Burke continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Tureaud, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
The win makes it two in a row for WISH Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-5. As for New Designs Watts, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. WISH Academy will take on Simon Tech at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Simon Tech is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for New Designs Watts, they will be playing in front of their home fans against TEACH Tech Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
