Ocean Springs' four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They managed a 20-16 victory over Moss Point. The win was just what Ocean Springs needed coming off of a 60-31 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, St. Luke's Episcopal took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 47-20 win over LeFlore. The victory was just what St. Luke's Episcopal needed coming off of a 53-29 defeat in their prior contest.
St. Luke's Episcopal's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Stephenson led the charge by scoring 11 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Turner, who scored 12 points.
The losses dropped Ocean Springs to 2-4 and Moss Point to 3-5.
Everything came up roses for Ocean Springs against St. Luke's Episcopal in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the team secured a 62-22 victory.
