Northern moved up to 460 from 490 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Saginaw Valley - South. A 12-6 win over the Wildcats helped the Vikings improve their standing.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Flint Southwestern Academy takes on Carman-Ainsworth. As it stands, the Knights are in fifth, while the Cavaliers are in second.
Powers Catholic extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Carman-Ainsworth, 32-7. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
