Football Game Preview: St. Martin's Episcopal vs. Houma Christian

Houma Christian have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they will take on St. Martin's Episcopal at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.

Houma Christian entered their game against West St. John two weeks ago without any home losses -- but there's a first time for everything. Houma Christian were dealt a punishing 0-61 defeat at the hands of West St. John. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for St. Martin's Episcopal, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They took a serious blow against Varnado last Friday, falling 0-59. St. Martin's Episcopal's low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the matchup before.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
