It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Fyffe Red Devils had no problem doing just that on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 43-24 win over the Rebels. Fyffe is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 14 straight.
Reeltown's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tae Martin, who rushed for 67 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Arthur Woods, who rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.
Fyffe's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Reeltown, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-1.
Fyffe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Reeltown also has no future games currently scheduled.
