After a big victory against Grafton/St. Thomas/Drayton last Friday, Wahpeton came back down to earth. On Saturday, Wahpeton came up short against Devils Lake/Minnewaukan, falling 14-21. If Wahpeton were expecting to get some payback for the 28-43 defeat against Devils Lake/Minnewaukan the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Wahpeton's record to 1-5. The win got Devils Lake/Minnewaukan back to even at 3-3.
Wahpeton will be playing at home against Jamestown at at 7:00 PM next week. As for Devils Lake/Minnewaukan, they will face off against Grafton/St. Thomas/Drayton. Devils Lake/Minnewaukan will be strutting in after a victory while Grafton/St. Thomas/Drayton will be stumbling in from a loss.
