 Valencia was led to victory by  Brian Bonner and  Evan McCalister.  Bonner rushed for 145 yards and three  scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, while  McCalister threw for 306 yards and four  touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. With that strong performance,  Bonner is now averaging an impressive 109.8  rushing yards per game.  Elias Holloway was  McCalister's top target, picking up 80 receiving yards and one  TD.
 Despite the loss, Paraclete still got an impressive performance from   Joseph Mesa, who threw for 252 yards and four  touchdowns, and also punched in one  score on the ground. Mesa has been hot recently, having  posted four or more  passing touchdowns the last three times he's  played.
Valencia pushed their record up to 3-1 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 48.4 points over those games. As for Paraclete, their  defeat was their first of the  season and also makes their record 3-1.

Meanwhile,  Paraclete (ranked 140th) will meet Village Christian (ranked 405th)  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
