Pennridge scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Central Bucks South, 21-10. At the time, the Titans were ranked 18th in the state, while the Rams were 35th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pennridge, who took down 18th ranked Central Bucks South, 21-10. Mike Class ran for 234 yards and caught two passes for 41 yards in the win.
Cale Mosher was the best wideout in Suburban One - Continental this week as Dave Rackovan's team fell to Randy Cuthbert's team. Mosher tallied seven receptions for 93 yards. Josh Adams helped Central Bucks South's passing attack out by catching three balls for 23 yards.
Cody Riemenschneider put up the best numbers through the air as Central Bucks West bested Quakertown. He finished with 23 completions for 300 yards and one touchdown. Riemenschneider's favorite target this week was Mark Ciaudelli, who caught eight passes for 69 yards.
5-foot-8 quarterback Riemenschneider of the Bucks is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1372. He has also thrown 12 touchdowns. On the ground, the Rams' Class has rushed for 1483 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Mosher. The Central Bucks South star has 28 catches for 425 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pennridge takes on North Penn. As it stands, the Rams are in first, while the Knights are in fourth.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Pennridge takes on North Penn. The Rams have allowed 119 points this season, while Dick Beck's team has given up 114. Pennridge allowed 10 points last week as it topped the Titans.
The Knights suffered a letdown when it was bounced from the state Top 25 this week after defeating Hatboro-Horsham. North Penn had been ranked 13th, but fell to 27.
