Brookesmith got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Trey Toft out in front who scored 18 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Toft has scored at least 25% of Brookesmith's points. Landon Slayton was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Brookesmith has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Panther Creek, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Brookesmith will be playing in front of their home fans against Veribest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Veribest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Panther Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against Eden at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eden is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
