The Los Osos Grizzlies gave up the first points on Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They managed a 19-13 victory over South Hills. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Los Osos also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2022.
Mason Overacker was on fire: he rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 69 yards and a touchdown. Overacker was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards.
Despite the loss, South Hills still got an impressive performance from Matthew Moreno, who rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown.
Los Osos' victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for South Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
Los Osos is on the road again on Friday and play against South Pasadena at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. South Pasadena will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. South Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
