The Englewood Rams will head out on the road to  square off against  the ED White Commanders  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Englewood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.7  runs per game  this season.
Englewood took a loss when they played away from home  on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by  a  25-10 margin over Riverside. The Rams' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.
 Kendra Rouse made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Rouse was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Kiandra Carswell was a standout: she scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Haley Walding, who  scored four  runs while going 4-for-4.
 Englewood  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Riverside struck out seven times.
 Meanwhile, ED White was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They came up short against  Sandalwood, falling  18-3.
 Englewood's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 2-4. As for ED White, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Englewood took their  win against ED White  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  15-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
