The Escondido Charter Tigers will head out to  square off against the Coastal Academy Stingrays  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with Escondido Charter sitting on  seven straight  victories and Coastal Academy on four.
Escondido Charter is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Orange Glen  a   60-0 shutout  on Tuesday.  Meanwhile, Coastal Academy's rock-solid defense showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout  on Monday. They blew past Tri-City Christian, posting  a  44-0 win. The Stingrays might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 32  points or more this season.
 Escondido Charter's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Coastal Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
