Ethan Mcnulty Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Conemaugh Valley got the W thanks in part to Ethan Mcnulty playing the best football he has all season. Mcnulty rushed for 320 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 20.0 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 66 yards.

Bode Layo put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 41 receiving yards.
Purchase Line had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Layo it was a similar story. When Layo last faced the Red Dragons back in September of 2023, he picked up 159 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Ty Dumm Delivers Electric Effort Vs Conemaugh Township
Ty Dumm posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 233 yards while picking up 13.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 144 yards on 14 of 20 attempts.
Dumm must have Conemaugh Township's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Dumm last faced the Indians back in September of 2023, he rushed for 137 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.

Conemaugh Valley's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Eric Korhut
Thanks in part to Eric Korhut, Conemaugh Valley said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak. West Shamokin had no answer to Korhut on Friday as he rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.
This year, Korhut has averaged 21.9 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 1.71 receiving yards per game.
