The Amesbury Redhawks scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Tech Boston Academy/Muniz Academy, posting a 64-19 victory at home. The win was a breath of fresh air for Amesbury as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Amesbury found their leader in underclassman Ellison Talbot, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Bailey Kimball, who scored eight points.
Amesbury's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Tech Boston Academy/Muniz Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Amesbury has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Beverly at 6:30 p.m. on February 14th. Tech Boston Academy/Muniz Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
