The Brownstown Bombers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat North Clay/Clay City 81-50 at home. Brownstown has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 22 points or more this season.
Brownstown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lexi Seabaugh led the charge by scoring 18 points. Seabaugh has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Miller, who scored 14 points.
North Clay/Clay City lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Miah Ballard, who scored 17 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Alexis VanDyke was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Brownstown is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. As for North Clay/Clay City, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.
