On Friday Chaleigh Currin struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) Currin has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with more than seven strikeouts. For the year, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 4.77 over 29.3 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.500/0.550/1.111 with 10 RBI.
