Mission Trail recap October 22, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Mission Trail this week, Pacific Grove beat Marina 47-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Pacific Grove scaled the state rankings by moving to 334 from 365 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Chris Morgan's team was able to move up by defeating Marina 47-14.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Carmel's Connor Marden and William Kehoe have proven to be a lethal combination. Marden has thrown for 1,293 yards this season, while Kehoe has 27 catches for 509 yards. Stevenson's Drew Miller leads the league in rushing yards with 704.
At the moment, the Pirates are in third, while the Breakers are in first.
Pacific Grove took down Vernon Calhoun's team 47-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
