Gibson Southern and Cascade squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Gibson Southern had to settle for second. They took a hard 49-34 fall against the Cadets. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Dayton Mink produced another solid effort rushing for 125 yards and three touchdowns for Cascade. That's the most rushing touchdowns Mink has posted since back in October. Lucas Farmer was another key rusher, rushing for 78 yards and one score on only six carries.

Gibson Southern's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Cascade, the win keeps them at an undefeated 14-0.

Gibson Southern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cascade, they will take on Fort Wayne Bishop Luers at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 12.9 points per game this season, so the Cadets' offense will have their work cut out for them.
