With a playoff win on the line, Gibson Southern rose to the challenge on Saturday. They walked away with a 50-39 victory over the Floyd Central Highlanders. The win was nothing new for the Titans as they're now sitting on five straight.

Gibson Southern was led to victory by Gabby Spink and Paige Schnaus. Spink dropped a double-double with 29 points and ten rebounds, while Schnaus went 6-for-10 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. Schnaus has been hot, having posted two or more blocks the last five times she's played.

Gibson Southern's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Floyd Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 24-5.

Looking ahead, Gibson Southern will face off against Lawrence North at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gibson Southern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.3 points per game this season. Floyd Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
