A well-balanced attack led Centaurus over Gateway in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Warriors blew the Olympians out of the water with a 51-0 final score. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Olympians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Centaurus didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Alec Diamond, Nicholas Parana, and Garren Solis picked up one apiece. Diamond has been hot recently, having also posted five or more total tackles the last four times he's played.

Centaurus' victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Gateway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Centaurus will take on Grand Junction at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Gateway, they will challenge Sand Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Olympians will need to watch out since the Scorpions have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
