The Buckhorn Bucks lost to the Grissom Tigers back in October of 2022, but The Buckhorn Bucks didn't allow the Grissom Tigers the same satisfaction on Thursday. Buckhorn secured a 17-13 W over Grissom. The win made it back-to-back wins for Buckhorn.
Buckhorn's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 Hazel Green and 2-8 Grissom (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 25% over those games). As for Grissom, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Buckhorn will head out on the road to face off against Mountain Brook at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Mountain Brook presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Buckhorn in Alabama (Mountain Brook is ranked 18th, while Buckhorn is ranked 138th). Grissom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
